About

Clarity in the numbers. confidence in the mission.

Who We Are

At Stainless Books, accounting isn’t just about balancing the books—it’s about bringing clarity to purpose-driven organizations so they can lead with confidence.

With nearly two decades of nonprofit accounting experience, S Beezy was built on a simple belief: you shouldn’t need a financial background to understand your own numbers. When nonprofit leaders are equipped with clear, actionable information, they make stronger decisions and drive greater impact.

Whether you’re preparing for an audit, navigating a leadership change, or scaling after a funding win, our support is tailored to where you are now and where you’re headed. Every engagement starts by understanding your organization’s history, people, and goals. The numbers only matter if they help move the mission forward.

What you can expect:

  • We catch issues early, before they become problems.

  • We explain the why behind the numbers, not just the what.

  • We adjust as your organization grows or shifts direction.

  • We make sure your team understands the reports and feels ready for what’s next.

No cookie-cutter solutions. No generic spreadsheets. Just experienced support that meets the moment and helps you see the bigger picture.

about the founder

Meet Ugochi

With nearly 20 years of nonprofit accounting experience, both as an accountant inside nonprofit organizations and as an external auditor, Ugochi founded Stainless Books to fill a gap that too many nonprofits face: the need for strategic, reliable accounting support rooted in clarity and deep understanding.

In the early stages, many nonprofits lean on well-meaning volunteers or team members without formal training. But as they begin applying for grants, undergoing audits, or trying to scale, minor financial missteps can turn into major roadblocks.

That’s where Stainless Books comes in.

Ugochi brings a rare combination of skills and perspective shaped by working on both sides of the nonprofit table:

  • A strategic mindset that connects today’s numbers to tomorrow’s decisions.
  • A practical understanding of nonprofit operations, gained through direct experience.
  • An ability to explain complex financials in ways that make sense to non-accountants.
  • A flexible, adaptive approach that evolves with each client’s needs.
  • A clear commitment to keeping clients prepared, not just compliant.

Backed by CPA credentials and years of audit experience, her goal isn’t just to deliver clean books. It’s to help organizations stay steady, confident, and ready—whether an opportunity or an audit is on the horizon.

For Ugochi, accounting is a tool for service. It’s about helping mission-driven teams operate with clarity, lead with intention, and stay focused on the work that matters most.

We lead with clarity, precision, and purpose.

At Stainless Books, the work goes beyond numbers—it’s about helping nonprofits thrive with financial confidence. Our values are shaped by a deep commitment to ethical service, curiosity and clarity, and genuine partnership. These values show up in everything we do—from how we build systems to how we communicate with clients.

Our Core Values:

1. Integrity in Every Detail

We do things the right way, not the easy way. That means reliable processes, clear documentation, and delivering work we’re proud to put our name on.

2. Clarity through Insight

We believe that understanding your finances shouldn’t feel overwhelming. We simplify complex ideas and provide insight that helps you lead with confidence—not confusion.

3. Service with Intention

We care deeply about the people behind the mission. Every report, walkthrough, or recommendation is grounded in real-life context and shaped to fit your organization’s unique needs.

4. Continuous Growth

We are lifelong learners—always refining our craft, improving our systems, and staying ahead of what’s next in nonprofit accounting so our clients don’t have to.

5. Adaptability

Whether it’s navigating a leadership change, a new grant, or an unexpected audit, we remain flexible and solutions-focused to support your organization through all seasons.

6. Partnership Rooted in Purpose

We believe in building relationships, not just delivering services. Every engagement is a collaboration—grounded in mutual respect, aligned with your mission, and built to grow with you. We don’t just work for our clients; we work with them.
